For the March 1st 2026 SDFC Match Dane has created a versatile hand built surfboard to celebrate Turf to the Surf. At 6’1 1/2” x 20 x 2 1/2” inches (Approx 38oz) this relaxed rocker groveler can be easily put to use in the bigger stuff depending on the fin set up. This design is primarily for the matured surfer who doesn't want to ride a longboard. However, this shape featuring a single concave under the chest into a double between the fins and ‘V’ out the back could easily serve as a step of for many of San Diegos open reef waves. Standard Futures fin boxes allow this board to be ridden loose and fast as a 2+1 or accept your favorite set of thrusters when it gets critical. Glassing schedule is an abstract poly resin 6/4 Deck & clear 4” bottom to keep it light yet durable. All the killer SDFC logos are present as well as Dane’s art and signature for the March 1st 2026 match. Dane’s boards are built by hand one at a time for friends and family only. Includes board bag, leash, fins and a thumbs up.
